26th National and 4th International Iranian Conference on Biomedical Engineering

The second session for the 2018 admitted students in IUST- ENSAM joint program was held at IUST on August 17, 2019.

A meeting with the presence of the exchange students under IAESTE program at Iran University of Science and Technology was held on August 18, 2019.

A delegation consisting of Vice President and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Sulaimani Polytechnic University visited IUST on June 24 and 25, 2019.

IUST Chancellor attended the “Intercity and High- Speed Committee Alliance of Universities for High Speed Railway” held in Beijing, China on 17-18 June 2019.

 Two Special Issues have been published by International Journal of Civil Engineering in 2019 on different topics scheduled for publication in January and April.

A delegation from East China Jiaotong University consisting of the Chancellor, and Deans of schools of the university visited Iran University of Science and Technology on June 1, 2019.

A delegation from King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi, Thailand visited IUST on May 7, 2019.

Representatives of a number of Iranian universities met at the fifth session of the Iran Leading House for Academic Cooperation with Germany held at IUST on April 24, 2019.

A delegation from Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University consisting of the rector, the head of the project office for international programs, and two faculty members, as well as the head of the department of dcuational institutions and legal support of the Federal Agency for Railway transport of The Russian Federation attended Iran University of Science and Technology on April 15, 2019.

Along with the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution , the ”9th National Seminar of the Vice Presidents and Directors of International Affairs of Universities, Centers of Higher Education and Research, and the Science and Technology Parks” held in Iran University of Science and Technology on February 17, 2019.

According to the Center for International and Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology the first Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and technology (MSRT) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research Joint Mobility (BMBF) opened for 2 years from Dec. 2018.

Along with the 4th Rectors’ Forum for Top Iranian and Russian Universities held in Kish Island on 24th November, 2018, an appendix to the MoU signed on 2016 between the two parties, was signed on the development of cooperation between Gas Turbine Institute, and Power System Automation and Operation from IUST and Institute of Energy and Transport Systems from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The 4th Rectors’ Forum for Top Iranian and Russian Universities was held in Kish Island hosted by University of Tehran on 24th November, 2018.  

IUST chancellor and vice chancellor for international affairs met vice president of German Rector’s Conference (HRK) during the holding of Conference on “German- Iranian cooperation in Research” on Oct. 15-19, 2018 in Germany.

The Seminar was opened by the speeches of the HRK vice president who welcomed the Iranian delegation.

The Iranian University Presidents invited by the German Rector’s Conference (HRK) visited Fulda University of Applied Sciences on Oct. 17, 2018 and met the university president and vice presidents as well as the president and vice presidents of 3 other German universities.

The Iranian university presidents in their mission to Germany were welcomed by the president of Fulda University of Applied Sciences, and the Fulda Mayor.  

The delegation of Iranian universities including presidents, namely IUST chancellor, vice president and directors of international affairs visited Darmstadt University on Oct. 16, 2018.

A delegation composed of representatives of the international affairs as well as faculty members from a number of Sweden universities including Lund،Malmo ،Linneaus،Chalmers,Boras, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Second Secretary at Cultural Section of the Sweden Embassy in Tehran visited IUST on April 9, 2018.

An MOU signed between IUST- Kabul Polytechnic University during the session held in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on the development of the academic scientific cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan.

The chancellor of Kabul Polytechnic University visited IUST on April 25, 2018. Professor Kakar, visited the School of Railway Engineering and its laboratories and had a session with the IUST vice chancellor for administration and finance.

In the opening ceremony of the Iran- France University Presidents' summit, an MOU was signed between Iran University of Science and Technology and ParisTech.

The International Conference of "Future of Medium Sized Business for Iran and Germany" held in Berlin in August 2017. A number of University representatives from Iran participated in this event to contribute to the related issues in this ground with their German counterparts.
